Due to the super-typhoon “Yolanda” or “Haiyan” that badly hit the city of Tacloban and other outlying towns and islands in several eastern provinces in the Philippines, the Luscan library also experienced structure damage. The roof of the Luscan library was badly damaged. LUSCAN, in cooperation with the local municipal government, replaced the entire roof and re-painted the exterior.
